During the workshop, participants will learn a variety of stitching techniques—both decorative and functional—and use them to upcycle fabric swatches into an 8.5 x 11 fabric collage using decorative mending. You’re also welcome to bring a garment from home to practice mending and give it new life. All materials provided. Free and open to the public.

No sewing machine, no problem! Learn how to hem pants with hand-sewing. This workshop will walk you through the techniques needed to measure, cut, and hand-sew on a pair of pants for a proper hem. All materials will be provided, and you can bring your own pair of pants to work on at the end! Limited capacity - tickets $25.
