Sew Social: Monthly Sewing Circle

Join CU Society and Edgington Studio for our monthly Sew Social! This recurring event is held from 6-8pm on the first Wednesday of every month at Esoterica in Wheeling. Bring your own sewing project to work on alongside friends and neighbors. This is a great time to tackle the mending you have been meaning to do, or just unwind with a creative activity.

Edgington Studio will provide guidance, if you wish, for your project, and introduce a fun, new stitch each month.

Come and go as you are able! Please bring your own project and supplies. We will have basic supplies on-hand if needed. This event is sponsored by CU Society, free and open to the public. Registration will be held on-site at the event.

There are so many benefits to sewing, especially in a group! The repetitive motions of sewing encourage mindfulness and improved motor skills, while the projects facilitate individual expression and sustainability. Sew Socials are held to build community and share skills.
